Role Overview
The company is hiring a Despatch General Operator to join the team in Watergrasshill, County Cork, Ireland.
Key Duties
- Count, scan, and wrap cartons coming from production.
- Use a power pallet truck to move pallets safely.
- Handle scanning and movement of stock arriving from the boning hall.
- Follow health and safety standards at all times.
- Keep the work area neat, organised, and clean.
- Carry out a range of general warehouse tasks.
- Maintain control over the movement of trays and pallets.
Requirements
- Experience in food production or manufacturing is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
- Prior power pallet truck experience would be useful, but full training will be given.
- Candidates should be dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-moving setting is important.
- Applicants should be comfortable using their own initiative.
- Flexibility around working hours is needed.
- A willingness to learn and take on extra duties when required is expected.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are important.
- Good attention to detail is required.
