What you'll do

• Examine both structured and unstructured data to spot patterns, trends, and useful insights.
• Help build reports, dashboards, and visual dashboards for stakeholders.
• Support data cleaning, preparation, and validation work to improve data quality.
• Use statistical methods to support informed business decisions.
• Assist with predictive analytics and machine learning efforts.
• Combine data from different sources to improve the reliability and availability of reporting.
• Record analytical workflows, methods, and results clearly.
• Look for process improvements that can be driven by data analysis.
• Partner with both technical and non-technical teams on data initiatives.
• Keep up with new developments, tools, and standards in analytics and data science.

What is required

• A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Comfort using Python, SQL, R, or comparable analytical tools.
• A solid grasp of statistics, data analysis, and visual presentation of data.
• Hands-on familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Clear communication skills for explaining technical ideas to different audiences.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Ability to stay productive and work independently in a remote setup.

Nice to have

• Any exposure to machine learning through academic work, internships, or personal projects.
• Understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Basic familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of database fundamentals and data management practices.
