Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and farewell them on departure in a courteous, professional manner.
• Manage guest luggage with care, making sure it is transported accurately and on time between rooms, the lobby, and other designated areas.
• Accompany guests to their rooms and share useful information about hotel services and facilities.
• Collect baggage from departing rooms and move it to the lobby or the assigned pickup location.
• Support transportation-related requests, such as arranging taxis or giving local directions.
• Keep the lobby and luggage storage spaces tidy and well arranged.
• Handle guest questions and service requests quickly and effectively.
• Coordinate with other hotel teams to help deliver a seamless stay experience.
• Follow all hotel safety and security standards at all times.
• Take on additional duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Prior customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or a hotel environment, is beneficial.
• Strong verbal communication and people skills are essential.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy luggage is needed.
• A careful, detail-focused approach and a willingness to anticipate guest needs are important.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and public holidays, is necessary.
• A neat professional presentation and positive attitude are expected.
• Familiarity with the local area and nearby attractions would be an added advantage.
