Role Overview
This position sits within JSW Shipping & Logistics Pvt Ltd and is based at Pen, Maharashtra. The role is for an Assistant Manager HR who will manage site-level HR administration, facility coordination, compliance, and employee engagement.
Administrative and Facility Operations
You will oversee the day-to-day administration of the new administrative building and coordinate all related support services.
- Manage air-conditioning AMC and upkeep.
- Coordinate façade cleaning activities.
- Oversee housekeeping and pantry operations.
- Handle canteen activities and vendor follow-up.
Transport and Asset Control
The role includes responsibility for vehicle oversight and related billing controls.
- Administer company and utility vehicles.
- Track vehicle usage, servicing, and maintenance.
- Review vendor invoices and billing for transport-related services.
Security and Access Management
You will support site security operations and control access processes.
- Supervise security activities at the location.
- Manage gate entry and visitor screening systems.
- Coordinate with external security agencies.
Systems and Process Handling
The position requires regular use of HR and ERP systems for workforce and service administration.
- Use the Ramco platform for worker management.
- Ensure smooth gate-entry tracking and record maintenance.
- Carry out SAP-related tasks such as Service Request Notes.
- Support invoice processing and monthly billing activities.
Contract Manpower Management
You will coordinate third-party manpower deployment and monitor vendor performance on site.
- Plan and track deployment of contract workers.
- Work with vendors and evaluate service delivery.
Statutory and Labour Compliance
The role involves maintaining monthly compliance records and labour law documentation.
- Ensure adherence to Minimum Wages Act requirements.
- Monitor PF and ESIC compliance.
- Maintain wage registers and statutory records.
- Support Workmen Compensation policy compliance.
Employee Engagement
You will help plan and execute engagement initiatives for employees at the site and support broader HR activities.
- Organize monthly employee engagement activities.
- Assist with local HR initiatives and employee-facing programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred education includes an MBA or MLS in HR. The expected experience range is 5 to 8 years in a relevant HR or administration environment.
