Application Developer

Overview

This role is for an Application Developer focused on designing, building, and configuring software that supports business workflows and specific application needs. The position calls for close coordination with multiple stakeholders to turn requirements into practical, efficient applications, while keeping future adaptability in mind.

What you will do

• Work independently and grow into a subject matter expert for the area.
• Take part actively in team discussions and contribute ideas and inputs.
• Help resolve work-related challenges by suggesting workable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
• Develop applications that are scalable, easy to maintain, and aligned with business goals.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and help reduce application downtime.
• Share knowledge and assist junior colleagues when needed.

Skills and technical focus

• Strong hands-on capability in Control-M administration.
• Experience managing batch jobs, including scheduling and monitoring them through Control-M.
• Ability to tune workflows so operations run more efficiently.
• Good diagnostic skills for handling scheduling clashes and job failures.
• Understanding of how Control-M connects with enterprise applications and databases.
• Awareness of automation methods for job scheduling and execution.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Control-M administration.
• Minimum of 15 years of full-time education.
• Capability to work from the Chennai office.
