About the internship

This remote internship is focused on applied artificial intelligence for a consumer-facing astrology platform. The selected intern will help improve conversational AI, recommendation engines, and forecasting models that support personalized guidance and automated insights.

What you will work on

• Design and improve NLP and LLM workflows for chat-based experiences, including prompt design, retrieval, and response quality refinement.
• Develop personalization systems that adapt recommendations using user activity, preferences, and birth-chart data.
• Create predictive and forecasting models for horoscope and life-event use cases using historical user and astrology datasets.
• Experiment with modern model-improvement methods such as fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation frameworks to raise accuracy and reduce latency.
• Deploy, run, monitor, and scale AI models on cloud or custom infrastructure, with responsibility for inference, cost control, and uptime.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject-matter experts to make sure outputs are accurate, responsible, and aligned with the product voice.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, can begin between 29 June 2026 and 3 August 2026, are available for the full 3-month duration, and have relevant skills and interest in the domain. Freshers seeking jobs may also apply.

Requirements

• Strong grasp of Python along with common ML libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on exposure to, or strong interest in, deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Comfort with NLP libraries and APIs such as Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI, spaCy, and similar tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs and the basics of deploying ML models on cloud servers or with Docker.
• Ability to understand research papers and translate them into practical code.
• Preferred experience with large language models such as GPT, BERT, or LLaMA.
• Familiarity with chatbot frameworks like Rasa or LangChain is a plus.
• Exposure to recommendation methods such as collaborative filtering, content-based, or hybrid approaches is desirable.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, FastAPI, or Kubernetes is an added advantage.
• A curious, experimental mindset with the willingness to test and iterate on new ideas.

Additional information

On successful conversion to a permanent role, the expected annual compensation is ₹3,60,000 to ₹4,00,000.
