About the Function

The GCC team at MakeMyTrip is responsible for supporting international growth across the Gulf region. Role Overview

This role sits at the center of customer acquisition and retention for a highly competitive travel and e-commerce environment. The selected candidate will lead the full Arabic visual design approach across GCC marketing channels, ensuring all creatives are visually strong, culturally appropriate, and built to improve conversion. The work involves turning business goals into effective Arabic visual communication while keeping brand identity and customer experience tightly aligned.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of creative work across GCC marketing channels, including the mobile app, website, digital inventory, notifications, email campaigns, and mailed communications.
  • Set and safeguard visual standards across all outputs so that quality, consistency, and brand alignment are maintained.
  • Develop design ideas that reflect Saudi and broader GCC travel behavior, preferences, and cultural context.
  • Produce clear, engaging visual assets using strong typography, icon systems, colour usage, layout structure, and texture treatment.
  • Convert campaign briefs into Arabic creatives for performance banners, SEM display units, app marketing videos, social media assets, and CLM materials.
  • Maintain accuracy, technical readiness, and brand compliance across all final deliverables.
  • Handle review cycles, approvals, and final delivery while staying precise and meeting deadlines.
  • Draft and adapt short Arabic marketing copy for headlines, CTAs, on-creative text, push notifications, and banner messaging.
  • Ensure Arabic wording is accurate, culturally sensitive, and consistent in tone across GCC markets.
  • Localize English briefs into Arabic creative executions while preserving brand voice and regional relevance.
  • Continuously compare Arabic creative and copy quality against major competitors such as Almosafer, Saudia, and Booking.com.
  • Partner with marketing managers and business stakeholders to align visuals with campaign goals.
  • Use performance insights and customer feedback to improve creative effectiveness and copy quality.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and the India-based creative team to execute campaigns in an organized and timely way.
  • Keep up with new design tools, technologies, and industry trends to strengthen the quality of creative output.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Arabic, Journalism, or a closely related field is required.
  • At least 4 years of relevant visual design experience in digital agencies, e-commerce, or D2C environments.
  • Strong command of Arabic in both written and spoken form, with the ability to independently write and adapt short-form Arabic marketing copy.
  • Experience with Arabic content marketing across both upper-funnel and lower-funnel touchpoints will be an added advantage.

Key Success Factors

  • Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Ability to build compelling visual narratives across multiple platforms in Arabic.
