Technology Associate - Relocation to Dubai

Role overview

This opportunity is for a recent graduate who wants to build a career at the intersection of technology and aviation. The position offers a one-year development journey within Emirates Group IT, with practical learning, guidance from experienced professionals, and exposure to areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering.

As a Technology Associate, you will contribute to the creation, deployment, and upkeep of technology products and solutions that support Emirates Group business operations.

What you will do

• Carry out assigned technical tasks while working toward the creation of solutions that are scalable, reliable, and aligned with accepted engineering practices.
• Review business and system needs and assist in shaping the technical design and solution approach in line with agreed standards.
• Build, configure, test, and roll out technology solutions as part of a team, ensuring both functional and technical needs are met.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend fixes for system or application problems, escalating unresolved items through the proper internal channels.
• Work with cross-functional colleagues to spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements while following Emirates Group IT standards, policies, and best practices.
• Support unit testing, verification, and quality assurance work under the direction of senior team members.
• Help maintain technology playbooks, standards documents, and governance-related materials.

Eligibility and qualifications

This role is intended as an entry-level starting point for university graduates in a technology-related discipline.

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or another technology-related field is required.
• A CGPA of 3.0 or above, or an equivalent score, is required.
• You should have at least 1 year of exposure to current technologies through coursework or internships in a technology-related area.
