QA Engineer / Software Tester

Role overview

We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer / Software Tester who can help ensure software products perform reliably, behave as expected, and meet quality standards before release. This position is an important part of the development process, with responsibility for spotting defects, checking requirements, and helping improve both product quality and user experience.

What you will do

You will work alongside developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements, shape testing approaches, and carry out end-to-end testing. The role includes reviewing functionality, finding issues, and supporting the delivery of stable, high-quality applications.

Core duties include building and updating test plans, test cases, and QA documentation; carrying out manual and automated testing; and running functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance tests. You will also record results clearly, log defects, reproduce issues, and work with development teams to confirm fixes are completed.

In addition, you will verify bug fixes, test enhancements, and monitor application behaviour across different environments and platforms. You may also take part in requirement reviews, assist with test automation, maintain test environments, perform API and database checks, and support release validation activities.

Qualifications and skills

The ideal candidate should be analytical, structured in their approach, and focused on delivering dependable software outcomes. A solid grasp of testing methods, SDLC, and Agile practices is important, along with the ability to communicate findings clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
