Role Overview
This remote contract opportunity is for a highly organized and detail-focused Program Coordinator who will support the operational delivery of data center early career initiatives. The position sits within a growing Early Career Programs function and helps run trainee programs along with the wider portfolio for interns and new graduates.
The coordinator will act as an operational partner to the program manager and the broader early career team, keeping activities, communications, logistics, reporting, vendor coordination, and procurement work on track. The role suits someone who enjoys creating structure, handling multiple priorities, and making sure programs run smoothly as the organization expands.
Compensation and Duration
Pay is between $25 and $30 per hour on W2. The assignment is expected to run for 12 months.
Program Coordination and Operations
Support the daily execution of the Catalyst Data Center Trainee Programs and other early career initiatives while partnering with global program managers.
Maintain program calendars, milestone schedules, recurring activities, documentation, trackers, shared files, templates, and operating procedures.
Coordinate onboarding, training schedules, program events, engagement activities, and participant touchpoints.
Monitor action items, deliverables, and deadlines so work is completed on time.
Communications
Prepare, coordinate, and send communications to trainees, participants, managers, stakeholders, and program partners.
Handle recurring reminders, announcements, meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up actions.
Act as a dependable point of contact for questions from participants and stakeholders.
Procurement, Vendor, and Administrative Support
Assist with purchase requisitions and purchase orders for the onboarding and development team, including early career and learning and development groups.
Work with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to support contract processing and vendor onboarding.
Track invoices, purchase requests, contract renewals, vendor deliverables, and related records.
Help with budget monitoring and expense reporting for program activities.
Reporting and Tracking
Maintain participant tracking tools, dashboards, and operational reports.
Track participation, engagement, milestone completion, and other key metrics.
Keep program data, records, and documentation current and accurate.
Program Logistics and Event Support
Coordinate logistics for onboarding sessions, training events, and other program activities.
Manage invitations, venue coordination, materials, attendee tracking, and related event details.
Support virtual and in-person events across multiple locations and time zones.
Continuous Improvement
Look for ways to improve workflows, communications, and program coordination processes.
Suggest efficiency improvements that help the programs scale as they grow.
Contribute to special projects and new initiatives within the Early Career Programs organization.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of relevant experience is required.
You should have at least 2 years of experience in program coordination, project coordination, operations, human resources, learning and development, recruiting operations, or a related area.
Strong organization, excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage several priorities at once, and comfort working in a fast-moving environment are important.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and collaboration tools is needed, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
You should be able to work independently, prioritize effectively, deliver results, and follow through reliably on commitments.
Preferred Background
Experience supporting onboarding, training, internships, apprenticeships, early career, or talent development programs is preferred.
Exposure to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, contracts, or procurement work is also helpful.
Experience coordinating events, workshops, trainings, or employee programs is an advantage.
Background working with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, or Program Management teams is preferred, as is experience in cloud infrastructure, technology organizations, or large-scale operational settings.
Strong analytical ability and experience maintaining reports and tracking systems are valuable.
