Role overview
This position calls for an Operations Tech subject matter expert who can support fast-scaling, tech-led operations. The role sits at the intersection of Operations, Product, and Technology, helping new launches run smoothly, keeping workflows stable, and supporting a strong customer experience. The person in this role will investigate issues, confirm that operations are accurate, and help prepare processes so new sites or products are ready to perform from day one.
Core responsibilities
- Own operational readiness work and assist with launch execution so that workflows, tools, and processes work as intended.
- Work with Technology, Product, and Operations partners to identify, investigate, and resolve system-related issues.
- Run structured tests, check process accuracy, and surface gaps before a launch goes live.
- Support validation of operational data tied to workflows and customer commitments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to close defects and confirm launch readiness.
- Track post-launch performance, flag issues quickly, and help drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Spot repeat issues, recommend durable fixes, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Share clear progress updates, maintain documentation, and keep stakeholders informed in a timely way.
Required background
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or a similar discipline is required.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in operations, technical support, or coordination across product and technology teams is needed.
- Experience resolving operational or system problems through to closure is important.
- Comfort working with data, checking accuracy, and using Excel or comparable tools for basic analysis is expected.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to work across teams.
- The role requires the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving and often unclear environment.
Preferred experience
- Background in supporting technology-enabled operations or launch-heavy environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with workflow testing, user acceptance testing, or structured defect validation is an advantage.
- Ability to identify root causes, recognize patterns, and suggest longer-term improvements is preferred.
- Experience working with product, technology, or last-mile/fulfillment teams will be helpful.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a practical, action-oriented mindset are valued.
