What the role involves

The HR Advisor will give practical and professional advice to managers across a broad range of workforce matters. The post also includes proactive support for the operational running of services, as well as wider HR support when needed. The position offers exposure to varied casework and close collaboration with a wider HR team.

Team and working environment

You will be part of a collaborative HR function and report to an HR Manager, working alongside HR Advisors, HR Officers, Senior HR Business Partners, and the HR Strategic Lead. The organisation expects strong verbal and written communication, confident influencing ability, and good presentation and organisational skills. You will need to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and provide managers with clear, persuasive advice.

Location and working pattern

There are two full-time posts and one part-time post available. Base locations include Ashworth, Maghull and V7 in Prescot, with a base at V7, Kings Business Park, Prescot, or Ashworth, Maghull. The role includes travel across the organisation when required and is expected to operate in a hybrid way, combining home working with time on site according to service needs.

Requirements
