About the Role

This Gladstone Depot position is for a dependable HR Driver who puts safety first and enjoys hands-on, customer-facing work. The job involves driving a Mini Tanker to complete onsite refuelling at customer locations, handling your own route, working independently, and consistently delivering strong service.

The role can also include lubricant deliveries and general yard work. You should be comfortable assisting wherever required and able to safely climb plant and equipment to carry out refuelling tasks.

Key Requirements

Applicants need to align with Ampol’s values, hold a current HR licence, and be able to communicate clearly in verbal, written, and presentation formats. The position also calls for the ability to influence change, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong safety focus.

This role requires a commitment to day shift work, proven experience operating a Heavy Rigid vehicle, the ability to organise your own schedule effectively, and a dependable work ethic.

Desirable Experience

Experience in the fuel transport sector is an advantage, along with a current Dangerous Goods licence, current SLP licence, and working knowledge of relevant legislation and standards covering OH&S, environmental requirements, dangerous goods, and transport rules for petroleum products.
