The business is expanding quickly, and compute infrastructure is becoming a key strategic capability. The team is looking for a seasoned Hardware Infrastructure Lead to own GPU and server infrastructure strategy while working closely with the CEO and engineering leadership.

Role Summary

This position sits at the crossroads of engineering, operations, and business strategy. The selected person will guide hardware and datacenter decisions that shape the company’s ability to scale efficiently across regions while maintaining performance, reliability, and cost control.

Responsibilities

Set and carry out the strategy for hardware and compute infrastructure.
Manage GPU sourcing and supply planning, including relationships with vendors and hosting partners.
Plan, design, and improve server and datacenter environments that support AI inference workloads.
Assess and negotiate with datacenter operators, GPU suppliers, and infrastructure partners.
Collaborate with engineering teams so infrastructure keeps pace with product and model needs.
Improve the balance between performance and cost across hardware deployments.
Lead capacity planning for rapid growth and expansion into new regions.
Track developments in GPU hardware, AI infrastructure, and datacenter technology.
Support rollout of infrastructure across multiple locations and service providers.
Contribute to the long-term roadmap for the company’s global compute platform.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure, servers, or datacenter operations.
Proven background managing large-scale compute environments for cloud, AI, or other high-performance workloads.
Exposure to GPU vendors, hosting companies, or infrastructure partners.
Solid understanding of AI workloads and GPU performance tuning.
Experience negotiating infrastructure agreements or handling hardware procurement.
Ability to make decisions that weigh technical needs against business and cost constraints.
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Background

Prior work in AI infrastructure, cloud services, or GPU hosting environments.
Experience building or expanding global compute infrastructure.
Background in HPC, cloud infrastructure, or datacenter operations.
