Front-End Development Manager

Role overview

We are looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Front-End Development Manager to lead a distributed team in the United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will guide the delivery of polished, high-performing web experiences while helping shape technical direction and team growth.

Responsibilities

• Direct the front-end team and ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality web applications.
• Set the front-end technical direction, including architecture decisions, coding guidelines, and development standards.
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
• Plan work, distribute tasks effectively, and monitor team output and delivery progress.
• Make sure applications meet expectations for speed, scalability, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers.
• Review code, coach developers, and support ongoing professional development.
• Keep up with new front-end tools, practices, and industry developments.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated background in front-end development along with experience leading a team.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of front-end architecture, performance tuning, and responsive design.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
