Workday Administrator

Role overview

Angle Finance is looking for a Workday Administrator to help improve how the business uses Workday across HR, payroll, and finance. In this position, you will keep the platform running smoothly, support users, maintain accurate data, and work with internal teams to get the most value from the system.

The role covers day-to-day administration, system setup, ongoing maintenance, and support for Workday modules and integrations. The aim is to keep key processes efficient and reliable across the organisation.

This opportunity can be arranged as either part-time or full-time. If part-time, the minimum commitment is 3 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day administration and upkeep of the Workday platform, including availability, performance, and security.
• Keep system records up to date, including business process details, configuration notes, and integration documentation.
• Partner with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to understand needs and identify improvements to Workday functionality.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Workday to deliver timely insights for HR, payroll, and finance teams.
• Support users by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on Workday features, modules, and self-service tools.
• Develop and update user guides, training resources, and FAQ materials to improve adoption and ease of use.
• Work with HR and IT on testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management for system updates.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and help resolve problems affecting system use or performance.

What you need

• Previous experience in a Workday Administrator role or a similar position, with strong familiarity across Workday modules and configurations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with people at different levels of the organisation.
• Good technical troubleshooting skills and confidence in resolving system issues.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with experience turning business needs into system changes.
• Hands-on experience creating reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday reporting tools.
• Workday certification is considered an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
