Task Associate

Role overview

Ulta Beauty is looking for a Task Associate to help keep store operations running smoothly and support an exceptional shopping experience. This role is centered on making sure products are available, fixtures are stocked, the store stays clean and organized, and daily tasks are completed with accuracy and care. What you will do

• Help the store meet or exceed retail goals by ensuring assigned tasks are completed on time and merchandise is ready for customers.
• Support operational targets connected to task tracking, including shipment processing, replenishment, merchandising sets, inventory counts, and related procedures.
• Show up reliably and maintain punctual, regular attendance.
• Support an inclusive workplace that values teammates, customers, and guests.
• Take part in continuous training, including education on brands and product categories, to build skills and support sales performance.
• Follow company policies, operating procedures, compliance standards, and dress code requirements.
• Carry out merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory activities, and shipment processing using company technology and established best practices.
• Keep the assigned area stocked, signed, faced, and supplied with testers as needed.
• Maintain high store standards by helping keep the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, stockroom, and break area clean and orderly.
• Protect company property by following loss prevention practices and delivering excellent guest service.
• Complete additional operational work as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
• Comfort using basic technology, such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work on your own and collaboratively with others.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Ability to move throughout the store for the full shift and perform frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs. continuously or frequently during the shift.
• Ability to continuously handle and manipulate objects during work.
