Retail Store Supervisor

Role Overview

The retail store supervisor will lead day-to-day store operations, guide sales staff, and help keep customer service, merchandising, and scheduling running smoothly at the Kenora, Ontario location.

Core Duties

• Oversee store personnel, including apprentices, stage hands, design team members, and other staff.
• Allocate daily sales tasks and responsibilities among workers.
• Recruit, onboard, and arrange training for team members.
• Place merchandise orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
• Approve merchandise returns when appropriate.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Handle operational concerns such as customer questions, complaints, and inventory or supply shortages.
• Direct and coordinate the work performed by store employees.

Education and Experience

A secondary school graduation certificate is required, along with 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and background.
