Role Overview

Alfanar Projects / Alfanar Engineering Construction is hiring a Planning Engineer for project-based assignments across multiple locations, depending on business and site requirements. This is a full-time onsite position focused on keeping major infrastructure projects on track and aligned with delivery, compliance, and coordination goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and revise project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Build baseline programmes, resource-based schedules, and schedule recovery plans when needed.
• Track project advancement and evaluate schedule health and performance.
• Spot critical path tasks and identify timing-related risks early.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to keep plans aligned.
• Prepare progress updates on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Carry out delay assessments and recommend actions to reduce schedule impact.
