Role Overview

As an Executive - Operations, you will be responsible for keeping day-to-day cafeteria and food operations running smoothly. The role centers on operational control, coordination with vendors and clients, support for digital ordering adoption, quality checks, and ensuring that service standards, safety norms, and hygiene practices are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the SmartQ digital ordering platform by highlighting its convenience, features, and available offers.
  • Guide users through app download and usage, and support those without the app in placing orders and completing payments through digital wallets.
  • Work each day with food partners to refresh menu items and coordinate with the technology team so updates appear correctly in the app, including banners and push notifications.
  • Carry out Café LENS and hygiene inspections, complete hourly governance checks, and escalate incidents, accidents, or near-miss events to the reporting manager without delay.
  • Help maintain a positive workplace atmosphere and ensure service is delivered on time and at a high standard.
  • Gather regular feedback from employees and clients using cafeteria services.
  • Confirm that displays, counters, and service areas follow company and statutory rules, and monitor cafeteria counters for compliance with operating standard procedures.
  • Review work areas before and after operations to verify correct waste disposal practices.
  • Maintain health, safety, and environment records, along with temperature logs, and report any deviations from the expected standards.
  • Ensure equipment is operated according to Equipment Safety Work Procedures and notify the relevant teams about any downtime.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
  • A graduate or diploma holder in Hotel Management is preferred.
  • You should be adaptable and open to handling varied tasks to support team objectives.
  • The role suits someone who can collaborate effectively, guide food partner staff, and take initiative.
  • Basic computer knowledge is needed, along with a willingness to learn and a strong sense of honesty and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the local language are important, along with a commitment to high-quality service for clients and employees.

Company Message

SmartQ views its work as more than food services; it aims to create joyful, meaningful experiences in corporate cafeterias. The company believes in transforming everyday dining spaces into places that inspire, comfort, and connect people. Candidates who relate to this mission are encouraged to consider the role.
