Electrical Technical Engineer

Role Overview

Electric House (بيت الكهرباء) is hiring an Electrical Technical Engineer for its Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia location. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on technical support, tendering, and pre-sales engineering for electrical products and solutions.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical support, tendering, or pre-sales engineering. Prior exposure to low-voltage electrical products is needed, and experience working with Legrand products is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

The role calls for a solid grasp of project specifications, engineering drawings, and BOQs. The candidate should be able to build technical and commercial proposals, prepare technical submittals and compliance matrices, and work confidently with international standards such as IEC, NEC, and BS. Knowledge of KNX systems, smart building solutions, building automation, and home automation products will be a strong advantage.

Software Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is mandatory, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required, while AutoCAD experience will be considered an added advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and presentation abilities are essential, along with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The role also requires the ability to work closely with manufacturers, consultants, and sales teams, while maintaining a customer-focused approach and effective time management.

Language

Good written and spoken English is required.
