Role Overview
This part-time remote position focuses on entering, checking, and structuring cyber incident and operational information with a high level of precision. The role supports internal analysis as well as externally shared insights by keeping records accurate, current, and easy to use.
What You Will Do
- Collect data from different sources and input it into internal platforms and systems.
- Review records for missing details, errors, and consistency issues, then highlight anything unusual for further review.
- Assist in creating simple summaries, tables, and reports that support analytics and reporting work.
- Maintain organized records and ensure data stays aligned with established standards and privacy expectations.
- Work with teammates to improve the quality of data and make workflows more efficient.
- Support dashboard and dataset preparation by entering information promptly and documenting data-handling steps clearly.
Qualifications
- Good analytical ability and a basic grasp of data analysis concepts to spot patterns and support routine reporting.
- Working knowledge of statistics and data modeling principles for building structured and dependable datasets.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills for documenting procedures and working with different teams.
- Strong focus on accuracy, detail, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive or security-related information.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and data-entry software; familiarity with databases or dashboard tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms is an added advantage.
- Ability to stay productive in a remote setup, manage time well, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
- Exposure to or interest in cybersecurity, government, or public-sector work is helpful.
- Education in data, information management, or a related area, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred but not required.
