Role overview

This role is about understanding customer business needs, evaluating how those needs affect the solution, and translating them into effective recommendations and implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Capture customer expectations by preparing business documentation and technical requirement material.
• Recommend solutions to customers based on product features, delivery methods, and reuse wherever suitable.
• Develop integrated, end-to-end high-level solutions that align with business goals, operational feasibility, and budget constraints.
• Take part in or lead formal and informal solution reviews with stakeholders, using domain knowledge to provide technical input and guidance.
• Explain new solution details and their business impact to both customer business teams and IT teams.
• Make sure customers clearly understand the proposed solution and that open questions and action items are resolved.
• Assist customers during the scoping stage within a specific domain until sign-off is completed.
• Prepare solution documentation and specifications, configure the solution, and create, run, and maintain detailed test plans for relevant testing activities.
• Help resolve configuration and implementation issues when they arise.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering & Management with a focus on Information Systems.
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to explain the solution through presentations, demos, and similar formats.
• Strong understanding of relevant products and full end-to-end business processes.
• Knowledge of the telecom domain and Amdocs business processes such as ETOM and ASOM.
• Experience managing teams working across Amdocs domain solutions.
