About the Role

This role involves delivering outstanding customer service aligned with Walmart's core principles, organizing and maintaining the bakery section, restocking products, and supporting merchandise sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and attractive presentation of bakery items such as breads, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is adequately stocked and prepared for daily business operations.
• Accurately label and price all merchandise appropriately.
• Follow regulations and company protocols related to cold chain maintenance, thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling, product rotation, and managing sell-by and expiration dates.
• Comply with food safety standards and execute sanitation and cleaning procedures diligently.
• Manage ordering processes, clearance sales, price adjustments, and product labeling correctly.
• Prepare bakery items by strictly adhering to thawing and baking guidelines to preserve quality and presentation.
• Assure that all bakery displays are safely and properly arranged.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.20 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
