Role overview

This is an opportunity for an Audit Manager to join a globally recognised top-20 accounting firm in central Dublin. The business has around 200 people across Ireland, including more than 100 in Dublin, and supports clients in technology, leisure, manufacturing, retail, and media.

The position offers a hybrid setup with 2 to 3 days each week spent in the office. The salary range is €70,000 to €75,000, with additional benefits including a bonus, pension, health cover, and strong promotion prospects.

About the opportunity

The role is suited to an audit professional looking for a broader and faster-moving career path. Rather than managing assignments in a standard way, you will operate the portfolio with a strong sense of ownership and work closely with the Partners. This is positioned as a direct route toward Director level, with progression aligned to your ambition and development.

The firm is an established, partner-led Irish practice with clients throughout Ireland, as well as international businesses with Irish, EU, and UK operations. The Dublin audit team is expanding, creating room for someone who can help grow client relationships and the wider portfolio.

What the role involves

• Taking responsibility for an audit portfolio and managing it with a business-owner mindset.
• Working closely with the Partners on client delivery and portfolio development.
• Building a deeper understanding of what drives clients’ financial accounts and audit needs.
• Developing new business through Irish professional networks and client relationships.
• Supporting the growth of the Dublin audit team and contributing to the firm’s expanding client base.

Candidate profile

This position is open to Audit Managers with more than one year of Irish Audit Manager-level experience. The ideal person will be motivated to take ownership of their clients, strengthen relationships, and expand their portfolio through active networking in Ireland.
