Overview
We are hiring an Assistant Manager for a restaurant environment in Surrey, British Columbia. This role focuses on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, supporting the team, and ensuring customers receive quality service.
Language Requirement
English is required for this position.
Education Requirement
A college, CEGEP, or similar non-university certificate/diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years is required.
Experience Requirement
Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience, but not more than 2 years, in a related setting.
Work Location
This is an on-site role. Work must be done at the physical location, and remote work is not available.
Key Duties
- Review how the restaurant is operating each day and identify improvements.
- Coordinate and structure daily workflows and store operations.
- Support hiring by helping recruit new staff members.
- Create and manage employee schedules.
- Track inventory and keep supplies organized.
- Make sure workplace health and safety rules are properly followed.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns professionally.
- Deliver strong customer service and support guest satisfaction.
- Assist with planning and running events.
