Role Summary

The Security Supervisor position is responsible for leading day-to-day security activity across the marina, beach club, and public beach areas. The role focuses on protecting guests, colleagues, visitors, vessels, facilities, and company property, while ensuring that operations follow company policies, safety standards, and applicable local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily work of security officers stationed across the marina, beach club, and beach zones.
• Protect guests, employees, visitors, boats, yachts, and company assets.
• Carry out regular rounds of the docks, beach, parking areas, guest spaces, and access points.
• Keep watch over CCTV, access control, and other security systems to confirm they are working properly.
• Handle emergencies, incidents, complaints, accidents, disturbances, and suspicious behaviour quickly and professionally.
• Complete accurate reports for incidents, accidents, and other security occurrences.
• Support strong crowd management during events, busy periods, and special functions.
• Work closely with lifeguards, operations, engineering teams, and external authorities whenever needed.
• Apply company rules, marina regulations, beach safety requirements, and security procedures consistently.
• Run shift briefings and ensure clear and effective shift handover.
• Coach, support, and develop security officers to uphold professionalism and quality guest service.
• Check that security staff maintain proper grooming, discipline, and conduct.
• Assist with investigations involving theft, damage, lost property, and guest-related incidents.
• Control access for contractors and visitors entering restricted areas.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency evacuation procedures.
• Keep security logs, records, and documentation complete and up to date.
• Coordinate lifeguards and security personnel, ensuring they are prepared, follow safety procedures, and respond effectively to water-related emergencies.
• Oversee rescue and safety equipment, organise drills and training, and monitor water conditions and guest activity to help prevent accidents.
• Partner with marina management and outside agencies to enforce boat and yacht security, marina safety standards, safety signage, and emergency readiness for beach and water areas.

Candidate Profile

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a Security Supervisor position, ideally in hospitality, beach clubs, resorts, marinas, or leisure environments.
• A valid security certification or licence required by local authorities.
• Experience or familiarity with marina and beach operations is an advantage.
• Strong people leadership and team supervision skills.
• Clear communication and good interpersonal ability.
• Calm, composed behaviour when dealing with emergencies.
• Working knowledge of CCTV systems and security processes.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
