Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will sit at the start of the sales process and often be the first point of contact for prospective customers. Your job is to create a strong first impression, identify promising opportunities, and determine the most suitable next step for each lead. The position blends research, commercial judgment, AI-assisted workflows, and thoughtful outreach rather than simply focusing on volume.
What You Will Do
- Research accounts and buyer personas in depth to uncover high-potential opportunities.
- Use AI tools and modern workflows to improve prospecting, personalization, and productivity.
- Create targeted outreach across email, phone, and social channels.
- Assess inbound and outbound leads with attention to fit and business value.
- Work closely with Account Executives to develop and move pipeline forward.
- Experiment with and refine messaging based on results and feedback.
- Keep CRM records accurate, organized, and up to date, including tools such as Salesforce.
- Take on other related tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales-related position; SaaS background is helpful but not required.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to think commercially and focus on the most important priorities.
- A naturally curious mindset and a strong appetite for learning.
- Comfort working with AI tools and modern sales technology, or willingness to learn quickly.
- A structured, consistent approach to time management and execution.
- Ownership-driven attitude with a proactive bias toward action.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
- German language skills are an added advantage, especially for supporting prospects in multiple European markets.

Work Location and Setup
The team is based in Liverpool, but candidates from the North West, Midlands, and nearby areas within reasonable commuting distance are also welcome. The role follows a flexible hybrid setup, with periodic office visits in Liverpool for collaboration, coaching, and team connection, generally every two weeks or once a month, while remote work makes up most of the week.
