Quality Control Inspector

Role Overview

Sierra Living Concepts is hiring a careful and proactive Quality Checker for its furniture export unit in Boranada, Jodhpur. The role calls for someone with practical experience in inspecting furniture and a solid understanding of wood varieties, surface finishes, machining accuracy, assembly precision, and export-grade quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine raw, semi-finished, and finished furniture pieces against the company’s quality standards.
• Assess measurements, joints, sanding finish, surface treatment, and the fitting of hardware components.
• Spot flaws in timber, workmanship, finishing, and packing, and help ensure corrective steps are taken.
• Confirm that export order requirements are met before items are sent out.
• Keep QC documentation updated, share daily inspection observations, and work closely with production and finishing teams.
• Make sure all products align with international quality and safety requirements.

Experience Required

The preferred background is 1–3 years in furniture quality control, especially within a furniture manufacturing and export environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on familiarity with hardwoods, finishing compounds, and furniture assembly methods.
• Ability to detect quality deviations quickly and recommend practical improvements.
• Sharp attention to detail and a consistent focus on maintaining high standards.
• Prior exposure to export furniture quality checking will be an added benefit.
