Project Manager

Overview

A respected organisation in the agri-food sector is looking for a Project Manager to oversee a varied set of business initiatives across agricultural and commercial operations. The position is best suited to someone with solid project delivery experience and a practical understanding of the agriculture industry.

The chosen candidate will handle several initiatives at the same time, covering operational improvement, technology rollouts, commercial workstreams and wider business change programmes. Experience in agribusiness, farming, agriculture, food production or a closely related field is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of business and operational projects across different departments.
• Take ownership of project planning, delivery, governance and stakeholder coordination.
• Bring together cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Run workshops and project meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues and interdependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to business change and operational improvement efforts.
• Support delivery of both business-focused and technology-enabled initiatives.
• Keep project goals aligned with wider organisational priorities.

Required Experience

• Demonstrated project management background in business change, transformation or operational improvement work.
• Prior exposure to agribusiness, agriculture, food production, farming, supply chain or similar industries.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders and build working relationships.
• Comfort managing several projects at once.
• Capability to perform well in fast-moving and evolving settings.
• Experience with software implementation, process improvement or operational change projects would be beneficial.
• Solid skills in governance, planning and reporting.
