Role overview
Join Qube’s Neilson Street team in Auckland as a Night Shift Logistics Coordinator. This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys evening work, works well in a busy environment, and is ready to take on a new challenge in logistics.
Working hours
This is a permanent full-time role with shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:00pm to 3:30am.
Key duties
You will be responsible for managing container movements across the depot while keeping records accurate and communicating clearly with both internal teams and outside stakeholders.
- Use the company’s internal booking platform to check trucks in and out of the yard.
- Guide and direct truck drivers while they move around the depot.
- Work with internal and external contacts to make sure deadlines and cut-offs are achieved.
- Match and verify driver sheets so all movements are recorded correctly.
- Cross-check MPI information to help ensure the depot stays compliant with relevant regulations.
- Arrange the acceptance, release, and delivery of full containers.
- Respond to internal and external questions and requests.
- Keep in touch with staff over RT communication systems.
What you should bring
The role calls for a confident and professional communicator with strong written and verbal skills. You should be detail-oriented, comfortable balancing multiple priorities, and willing to take initiative while seeing tasks through to completion.

Requirements
You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You also need to be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, a drug screen, and an MOJ criminal history check.
