Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Janitor for an on-site role in Grovetown, Georgia. This position focuses on general cleaning and upkeep across a designated building area or across multiple client locations. Compensation

The role offers pay of $14 per hour and is paid weekly.

Key responsibilities

• Keep all floor areas clean and maintained by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming as needed.
• Use chemical cleaning agents and powered equipment correctly to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
• Service and maintain restrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and entry spaces.
• Remove and dispose of waste properly, including operating a compactor for approved materials.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and glass panels with suitable tools and cleaning products.
• Perform spot cleaning on carpets and support carpet extraction and shampooing tasks.
• Refill paper goods and sanitary supplies.
• Work according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavier cleaning equipment when necessary, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Take on additional duties as needed based on the job scope or customer requirements.

Required qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, or at least six months of experience in a janitorial-type role.
• Training will be provided on the job.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions well is important.

Preferred background

• Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and custodial standards.
• Knowledge of floor care methods such as buffing and waxing.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
