Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Field Engineer position in Doha. The role centers on deployment, integration, and performance support for Bandora’s building energy-efficiency solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Visit client sites to support installations and on-ground implementation.
• Set up and configure hardware and software used in the solution.
• Run diagnostics and check system performance to keep HVAC and building management systems operating reliably.
• Investigate technical issues and provide practical hands-on troubleshooting support.
• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, partners, and customer contacts to close issues quickly.
• Record site activity, progress updates, and technical observations accurately.
• Support project planning and execution with timely field input.
• Share feedback from customer locations to help improve the product, rollout process, and service quality.
• Carry out all work safely, independently, and with a strong customer-first approach in commercial building environments.

Skills and Experience Needed

We are looking for someone with strong field-service and technical-support experience, ideally gained at customer sites. You should have hands-on exposure to installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, building controls, building management systems, electrical systems, or similar technical infrastructure.

The role also requires valid Qatar certifications, licences, or professional approvals that allow work inside electrical panels and permit inspection, installation, commissioning, or servicing of HVAC equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety practices and the ability to follow local regulations are essential.

You should be comfortable reading electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, equipment documentation, and HVAC schematics, and you should know how to use standard electrical, mechanical, and HVAC test tools. Good communication and relationship-building skills are important for working with customers, contractors, partners, and engineering teams.

Experience with project coordination tasks such as scheduling, site coordination, reporting, and technical documentation will be valuable. A degree, diploma, or other relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, HVAC, building automation, or a related area is preferred, although equivalent hands-on experience is also acceptable. Familiarity with digital tools, SaaS platforms, and building management systems is needed, while exposure to energy efficiency, building automation, or smart-building technology will be an added advantage.

You must be able to work on your own, manage several site activities at once, and travel to customer locations when needed. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
