This position sits within Consumer and Community Banking, in People Experience and Technology, and focuses on turning data into reliable operational insight. The role supports dashboard creation, reporting, and analysis that help leadership make informed decisions while following the required controls, policies, and procedures.

What you will do

• Clean large datasets by removing duplicates, standardizing formats, and normalizing information across multiple sources.
• Run routine data quality checks to spot inconsistencies, missing values, outliers, and conflicting records.
• Develop and maintain validation rules, checklists, and test scripts, including SQL-based checks.
• Support supervised data purging work by identifying in-scope records, checking results before and after purge, and reconciling outputs.
• Document purge steps, capture evidence, and prepare reporting that shows the work was completed accurately.
• Work with data owners, technology teams, and governance or control partners to follow up on approvals, timelines, and dependencies.
• Keep operational documentation up to date, such as data dictionaries, lineage details, quality notes, and runbooks.
• Track data incidents, help investigate root causes, and support remediation actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to control processes such as metrics, attestations, and evidence collection, while helping improve repeat issue handling.
• Create dashboards or recurring reports covering data quality trends, purge progress, and key risk indicators.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and escalate risks or blockers when needed.
• Look for ways to automate manual checks and improve repeatable processes.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in data-oriented problem solving or equivalent practical exposure.
• Ability to gather, review, and interpret complex data and use it to form sound conclusions.
• Hands-on experience building visual reports and dashboards with business intelligence tools.
• Experience with at least one data technology tool, along with a working understanding of relational database systems.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
• Preferred: a bachelor’s degree.
