This contract opportunity is with a global recruitment specialist supporting clients across EMEA, APAC, the US, and Canada. The position is based in Knutsford, England, United Kingdom, with an in-office requirement of three days per week.

Role details

Job title: Crypto Admin. Location: Knutsford WA16 9EU. Work pattern: 3-day office. Contract end date: 27/11/2026. Pay rate: £297 per day, all inclusive, processed through PAYE via Umbrella.

What this role involves

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cryptography and information security, with hands-on exposure to key management, HSM setup, installation, and support, as well as certificate administration. The role also calls for excellent stakeholder handling skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the business.

Key strengths needed

You should be highly accurate, detail-focused, and comfortable making sound decisions when timelines are tight. The role requires someone who can balance several priorities at once while maintaining quality and control.

Additional valuable experience

Further useful experience includes security or project management exposure, work in operational settings, IT infrastructure knowledge, incident response and change management experience, and strong procedural documentation skills. Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and Unix or Windows operating systems would also be beneficial.
