Associate Machine Operator

Role Summary

You will prepare raw materials, work-in-process items, semi-finished goods, and finished goods for use in the manufacturing process while following regulatory expectations and internal standards. The work requires manual skill, good coordination, and consistent attention to traceability, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy.

Key Duties

• Run different types of production equipment used in medical device manufacturing, such as ultrasonic cleaners, tissue deflectors, and similar machines, while setting the correct operating parameters.
• Choose and use the proper fixtures and aids for the task at hand, including jigs, cutting dies, templates, and other operation-specific tools.
• Carry out job steps in line with approved work instructions and SOPs, and record traceable data in device history records, including updates in JDE and other systems where needed.
• Issue materials, close work orders when required, and complete component transfers while keeping JDE and MES records accurate and aligned.
• Perform sanitization of fixtures according to the approved procedure.
• Remove tools, components, and manufacturing aids from ovens or autoclaves as part of the production flow.
• Keep inventory counts accurate in JDE and MES and make sure system quantities match physical stock.
• Handle additional routine tasks such as work area housekeeping, sanitizing with approved chemicals, material movement, and printing.

Requirements

The role is suited to candidates with secondary education. Prior experience in GMP, clean-room, or medical device settings is an advantage, but no previous related work experience is required. You should be comfortable working with manufacturing tools and equipment, follow detailed procedures, and maintain a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
