What you'll build

Key responsibilities

• Architect and ship recommendation and ranking systems that drive the app’s core one-to-one matching experience.

Ideal background

The company is looking for someone who has already built and scaled user-facing recommendation, matching, or ranking systems at an early-stage consumer business, such as a company in the style of Tinder, Instagram, or Spotify.

They prefer candidates who have been early engineers in a 0 to 1 or fast-scaling environment and have stayed long enough to help systems mature into production-ready infrastructure.
