About the internship
Rajendra Films is looking for a video editing and making intern to support the creation of punchy, trend-aware social media content. The role centers on turning raw footage into polished visual stories for brands, creators, and businesses, with a strong focus on short-form formats.
What you’ll do
- Edit short videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
- Trim, cut, and assemble raw clips into engaging final outputs.
- Enhance videos with transitions, visual effects, captions, music, and sound effects.
- Handle basic color correction and improve audio where needed.
- Create simple motion graphics and light animations whenever the project calls for it.
- Keep edits aligned with brand guidelines, platform trends, and current social content styles.
- Work with the creative team on content planning and execution.
- Maintain organized folders for video files and project assets.
- Deliver edits on time while meeting quality expectations.
- Track evolving editing trends, viral reel formats, and platform algorithms.
- Support thumbnail creation and basic graphic design tasks.
- Revise edits based on input from clients or senior editors.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, begin between 25 May 2026 and 30 Jun 2026, and stay for 6 months. Applicants must be based in Mumbai and should have relevant skills and interest in video creation. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.
Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 5,000 to 10,000.

- Preferred background of 1 to 2 years in video editing and post-production.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and YouTube content trends.
- Understanding of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and audience engagement tactics.
- Familiarity with video dimensions, aspect ratios, and upload specifications for different platforms.
- Basic ability to handle cameras and shoot footage when necessary.
- Awareness of framing, lighting, and composition fundamentals.
- Comfort capturing behind-the-scenes or raw footage when required.
- Creative approach with familiarity in current editing styles and transitions.
- Interest in digital content creation and storytelling.
- Fast learner with solid time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
