About the internship
Homlee is seeking a Business Development & Growth Intern to work closely with the Founder & CEO on creating and scaling new business verticals. The role centers on market research, growth planning, partnerships, marketing support, and expanding service categories within the hospitality space.
Key responsibilities
- Study markets to spot fresh business opportunities and emerging customer groups.
- Support the preparation of business plans and growth strategies for new ideas.
- Help shape add-on services such as curated tours, food offerings, concierge support, travel tie-ups, and guest-experience products.
- Research and evaluate hospitality segments such as medical tourism, corporate accommodation, film and OTT shoot stays, wedding and event lodging, educational institutions, religious tourism, and sports-team stays.
- Identify partnership opportunities and assist with outreach to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, pitch decks, and marketing plans.
- Contribute to digital marketing and brand-building efforts.
- Work with different teams to execute business development projects.
- Share research insights, ideas, and recommendations with the Founder & CEO.

This internship is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office role, can begin between 2 July 2026 and 6 August 2026, and are available for 2 months. Additional requirements
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and presentation ability, solid research and analytical skills, business development and strategic thinking capability, and good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Basic understanding of marketing and business planning is expected, along with working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Workspace. The role also calls for independence, ownership of tasks, strong organization, time management, enthusiasm for travel and hospitality, a high energy level, willingness to learn, interest in history and monuments, a proactive and outgoing attitude, and comfort with language and literature.
Eligible backgrounds
Students or recent graduates from Business, Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Tourism, Engineering, or similar fields may apply. The company is also looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving ability, interest in startups, hospitality, travel, and business development, and a self-driven approach suited to a fast-paced environment.
