Research and Development Specialist

Role Overview

The Research and Development Specialist will support molecular diagnostics development work with a focus on RT-PCR assay creation and optimization. This position is based in Vapi, Gujarat, and involves practical lab work, data analysis, and documentation in a research setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, refine, and improve RT-PCR assays used in molecular diagnostic applications.
• Create and assess primers and probes, then verify assay performance through validation work.
• Carry out molecular biology procedures such as RNA and DNA extraction, PCR, and RT-PCR testing.
• Review experimental outputs, interpret findings, and prepare clear technical records.
• Work with teams from other functions to help deliver projects smoothly and on time.
• Follow laboratory quality practices and regulatory requirements during all development activities.
• Keep detailed and accurate logs of experiments, procedures, and research progress.
