Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and accountable Production Supervisor to manage the day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role involves supervising production personnel, ensuring efficiency, upholding quality standards, achieving production goals, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily production tasks on the shop floor.
- Ensure that production deadlines and targets are successfully met.
- Monitor performance of machinery and coordinate maintenance activities when necessary.
- Maintain product quality in accordance with company standards.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and guidelines.
- Lead, manage, and motivate production workers and operators.
- Track consumption of raw materials and strive to reduce waste.
- Generate daily production reports and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and warehouse departments.
- Identify and suggest improvements in processes to boost production efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or production supervision.
- Strong leadership capabilities and team management skills.
- Understanding of production methodologies and quality control practices.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness and capability to work in shift-based environments.
