Role Overview

The Process Operator will support the assembly of water treatment modules using technical drawings, product specifications, and standard operating procedures. This role also involves testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining efficient, safe, and high-quality production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble water treatment modules by following technical drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Make sure components are fitted and connected correctly according to the design requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and related equipment to build modules accurately.
• Carry out functional and performance checks on assembled modules to confirm quality and safety compliance.
• Track module performance, production progress, and any issues, then update the production supervisor or manager.
• Review production activities and make adjustments that improve efficiency and output quality.
• Use materials and components carefully to reduce waste and improve resource use.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment properly to keep the workspace safe and orderly.
• Follow safety procedures and workplace protocols at all times.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and help maintain a safe working environment for the team.
• Work in line with company and environmental requirements, including safe handling of hazardous materials where applicable.

Experience and Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting is required, preferably in water technology, mechanical assembly, or a similar industry.
• Exposure to water treatment equipment or modular systems will be considered a strong advantage.
• Ability to test assembled modules and troubleshoot issues is important for this role.
• A strong safety mindset and consistent compliance with workplace procedures are essential.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move materials of different sizes and weights is needed.
• Experience using ERP systems, especially SAP, is an added advantage.
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
• Good communication and organizational abilities are required.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime when needed.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical certificate or degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial.
