Executive I - Production

Role OverviewThis position is for an Executive I in Production based in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, with responsibility for supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations within the supply chain function.Candidate ProfileThe preferred educational background for this role is B.Sc. (Chemistry) or M.Sc. (Chemistry).Key ResponsibilitiesFollow the prescribed production procedures and instructions at all times.Complete SAP transactions and maintain process-related records accurately.Keep safety, environmental, and quality documentation updated on a regular basis.Share progress updates, production status, and section-level issues with supervisors.Organize shift plans around manpower, machinery, batches, and related requirements.Coordinate closely with packing and other support departments to meet production timelines.Address shopfloor issues promptly and take corrective action to reduce production and breakdown losses.Assign operators across shifts and ensure batch charging and processing follow the production schedule.Guide and oversee shift teams, including operators and contractors, on a shift-by-shift basis.Confirm that all in-process checks are completed according to process standards.Prepare shift reports and update operator efficiency records at the end of each shift.Record equipment breakdowns, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and waste generation in the relevant portals.Manage smooth shift handover and takeover with proper transition between teams.Ensure availability of raw materials, PPE, and production consumables.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of machines, equipment, and the shop floor.Support and uphold 5S practices within the section.Participate actively in the organization’s safety, environment, and health initiatives.Identify opportunities for improvement and implement better practices on the shop floor.Additional InformationJob ID: 15076Area of Work: Supply ChainLocation: Ankleshwar, GJ, INEducation RequirementB.Sc.
