Role overview
This is a fully remote, full-time Executive Assistant opportunity supporting the founders of a fast-growing e-commerce and Amazon-focused business. The position is designed for someone who can keep executive schedules, inboxes, priorities, and follow-ups tightly managed so leadership can stay focused on expansion across European and North American markets.
You will join a young, high-energy team and gain close exposure to how a profitable, AI-oriented, startup-style business operates day to day. The environment is hands-on, fast-moving, and suited to someone who likes improving processes, reducing manual work, and using modern tools including GenAI to make operations run more smoothly.
About the company
The business is a full-service Amazon growth agency operating on a performance-led revenue-share model rather than fixed retainers. It was created by an ex-Amazon seller and two Forbes Under 30 founders who built and scaled brands across the US and Europe, then opened their proprietary Amazon infrastructure to help other brands expand internationally.
The company oversees accounts, advertising, logistics, and cross-border selling for its partners, acting as both seller and importer of record. It is already profitable, continues to grow, and operates from hubs in San Francisco, Milan, and London.
Key duties
- Manage the founders’ calendars by scheduling meetings, prioritizing commitments, and protecting their time across multiple time zones.
- Monitor and organize executive inboxes, draft responses, and ensure important messages are handled promptly.
- Arrange travel from start to finish and prepare briefing materials, agendas, and post-meeting follow-ups.
- Take ownership of important projects and keep them moving from kickoff to completion.
- Support the CEO in balancing both business and personal priorities as one coordinated workflow.
- Coordinate ad hoc initiatives and change-related tasks for the leadership team, while tracking timelines and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Provide day-to-day support to 3 to 4 executives across the wider group of companies.
- Assist with hiring activities, including interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and induction planning.
- Handle expenses, invoices, and basic bookkeeping, and work with external accountants and payroll vendors.
- Help maintain the rhythm of a distributed remote team through meetings, documents, reminders, and consistent follow-through.
What the role offers
- Direct access to how founders think, decide, and operate inside a scaling business.
- A high level of trust and responsibility, with the founders relying on you to keep key workstreams on track.
- Practical exposure to e-commerce, Amazon, and an AI-first business model.
- First-hand insight into the daily mechanics of a high-growth company.
- Development of advanced executive-assistance and operations capabilities that are typically built over years.
Work style and culture
The team is direct in its communication style and gives honest feedback, both positive and corrective. Candidates should be comfortable with straightforward communication and a high degree of accountability.
The company is intentionally self-funded and focused on long-term profitability rather than outside fundraising or a quick exit. It is looking for someone who wants to commit for the long haul and grow alongside the business, rather than treat the role as a short-term stopover.
Growth path
For the right long-term fit, there is a path to expand into a Chief of Staff or operations-focused position. Increased responsibility and equity may be part of that progression over time.
Application instructions
Applicants are expected to send a CV and a personal cover letter explaining why the role represents a meaningful next step and why the opportunity is a good fit for their professional goals.
To stand out, candidates should also share one or more direct-to-consumer or Amazon brands they care about and briefly explain why they find the company interesting and why they believe they would be a strong match.
Only candidates who follow the application instructions will be considered.
Interview process
The process is expected to take about 2 weeks from start to finish. Estimated time commitment from the candidate side is approximately 30 minutes for the CV and cover letter, 2 to 3 hours for a practical task, and 30 minutes for a call with the director team.
Applications are reviewed manually by the founders, and while the aim is to reply within 7 days, this may occasionally take longer depending on volume.
Additional notes
The company expects a genuine commitment of at least a couple of years. The position may also involve working in person with the founders at times, even though it is fully remote by default.
All communication and collaboration happen with an international team, so strong English fluency is essential.
Compensation is described as competitive and tied to background and experience.
