Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, monitor, and improve the site’s Environment, Safety, and Health management systems.
  • Communicate the EHS policy and drive its implementation across the organization.
  • Support all functions in identifying hazards and evaluating EHS risks and opportunities.
  • Design and implement operational controls to reduce significant EHS risks.
  • Create EHS training modules, prepare the training calendar, and ensure planned trainings are completed.
  • Identify applicable EHS legal requirements, ensure compliance, and review compliance status regularly.
  • Develop, roll out, monitor, and continuously improve EHS management systems aligned to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 at all levels.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the emergency response plan.
  • Promote best practices that strengthen the EHS culture at site.
  • Share EHS updates with employees consistently and in a structured manner.
  • Build awareness through communication campaigns, promotional drives, health check-up camps, quizzes, and similar activities.
  • Conduct routine training sessions for identified groups across the site.
  • Organize mock drills at planned intervals.
  • Encourage and support EHS Kaizen ideas, execution, and replication.
  • Carry out periodic inspections and audits, including support from external parties and volunteer employees, to drive EHS improvements.
  • Leverage professional EHS networks to exchange best practices and strengthen awareness initiatives.
  • Liaise with government authorities and other bodies as needed.
  • Track and report incidents, including near misses, investigate root causes, and ensure corrective actions are closed to avoid repeat events.

Language Requirement

Marathi is mandatory. English and Hindi are also required or preferred for communication.

Location Preference
