About the Role

This opening is for an experienced Data Analyst who can turn complex datasets into clear business insight. The role involves building and improving processes for handling diverse data sources used in mining, analysis, prediction, and reporting. You will work closely with finance teams, health plan leaders, and centers of excellence to define needs, solve business problems, and develop effective analytical solutions. The position also calls for strong communication skills so findings can be explained clearly to both technical teams and senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical and quantitative methods to support business decisions.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights.
• Create and sustain data models, dashboards, and reports that track key performance measures.
• Combine and validate data from different systems while maintaining accuracy and completeness.
• Summarize findings in clear reports and management-ready updates for stakeholders.
• Spot trends, opportunities, and process gaps that can improve operations.
• Work with centers of excellence, finance, and health plan leaders to review and refine models.
• Keep proper documentation and supporting artifacts for modeling work, including version control.
• Contribute to staffing and operational modeling efforts that improve resource planning.
• Monitor new technologies and bring useful analytical tools into daily workflows.

Requirements

• An associate degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience, is required.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience is required; 7 to 9 years is preferred.
• Strong ability to compile, manage, and analyze data using relevant tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Hands-on experience with SQL or similar query languages.
• Understanding of statistical methods and modeling approaches.
• Capability to build dashboards, algorithms, and reports for performance tracking.
• Solid awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex insights.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with outside partners.
