About the Role
Accenture New Zealand is inviting applications for the position of Data & AI Manager based in Auckland. This role involves steering AI and data strategy initiatives for clients, enabling impactful project delivery by leading teams and providing strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and build multi-disciplinary teams with both qualitative and quantitative expertise, leveraging insights-led strategies to adapt to dynamic market demands.
- Manage client relationships ensuring the successful delivery of AI and data-driven projects.
- Drive innovation and growth within the AI practice area.
- Deliver data-centric strategic presentations to senior business decision-makers to influence outcomes.
- Provide executive advisement with data-backed strategies that surpass expectations.
- Oversee multiple projects across different industries using evidence-based methodologies to formulate solutions.
- Effectively communicate insights through comprehensive reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Address critical challenges in data governance, machine learning, and natural language processing for both internal teams and clients.
- Convey business impact clearly through scientific storytelling methods and advanced data visualization.
- Develop AI-enabled language technologies that interpret and respond to human speech.
- Apply deep learning and neural network techniques to design and implement transformative AI solutions that generate actionable insights.
- Manage engagements end-to-end, from initial concept and prototyping through to development and deployment of solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable expertise in generating data-driven insights with a strong passion for advancing clients' analytics capabilities.
- A degree in related disciplines such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in deploying machine learning algorithms for digital transformation centered on analytics.
- At least three years’ experience in managing teams focused on AI and data projects.
Technical Proficiencies
- Experience with Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Conversational AI including Virtual Agents, and Narrative Science technologies.
- Proficiency in Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech systems alongside other AI-driven language solutions.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision applications such as face recognition and handwriting recognition.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Apache Spark, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Mathematical Programming, and Sentiment Analysis.
