About the Role
Quantcast is a technology company focused on AI-driven advertising solutions, and the Chennai office needs an Associate HR Business Partner to support its people operations. In this role, you will be a hands-on HR partner for local leaders and employees, serving as the first line of support for onshore managers while also working with the HRBP for APAC to guide offshore managers. The position is centered on strengthening the employee experience, supporting the people strategy, reinforcing company culture, and ensuring alignment with local employment laws and internal policies.
Employee Relations and HR Support
- Offer prompt, practical support to employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and day-to-day best practices.
- Act as a dependable contact for questions, concerns, and grievances, handling matters with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Help address employee relations issues such as performance concerns, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflict, escalating more complex situations to the HRBP for APAC when needed.
Talent Management and Development
- Support employees throughout the entire lifecycle, from joining the company through to exit.
- Partner with the talent acquisition team to assist with hiring and selection for the service center.
- Contribute to performance management activities, including goal setting, review cycles, and calibration discussions.
- Help leaders identify learning needs and support the rollout of training and development initiatives.
- Assist leaders in using Workday dashboards to review people data and insights.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Work with global HR business partners to understand business goals and turn them into people-focused initiatives.
- Support HR projects aimed at improving engagement, culture, and retention across the workforce.
- Review HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and employee survey results to spot trends and share actionable insights with leadership.
