Role Summary

This position is suited to a motivated self-starter who can identify both decision-makers and decision influencers within the pre-construction ecosystem, spanning multiple trades. The role centers on outbound lead discovery, qualifying prospects using a structured framework, and scheduling demo meetings with qualified contacts.

The company is seeking someone with strong ownership and persistence, as the job involves frequent outreach through calls, voicemails, and emails to more than 100 prospects each day. The role reports to the VP of Marketing & Demand Generation and works closely with the outbound SDR team and other business leaders to support revenue growth through outbound-led demand creation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound prospecting every day across the preconstruction market, reaching general contractors, subcontractors, estimators, project managers, and similar roles.
  • Use a multi-touch outreach strategy that includes cold calling, voicemail follow-ups, and tailored email sequences.
  • Maintain persistent follow-up activity to strengthen contact rates and improve conversions.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of early-stage opportunities.
  • Evaluate incoming and outgoing leads against the company’s ideal customer profile and persona requirements.
  • Arrange qualified product demos for account executives.
  • Pass opportunities to the sales team with complete context and accurate notes.
  • Help track deal movement from demo scheduled through closed won or lost, working with sales and RevOps.
  • Work with product marketing to sharpen messaging across different personas and trade segments.
  • Capture and share real-time feedback from prospect conversations, including objections, pain points, and competitive intelligence.
  • Test and improve outreach scripts, value propositions, and email campaigns.
  • Partner with the database/data team by sharing feedback on lead quality, ICP match, and persona targeting accuracy.
  • Support better segmentation and targeting by identifying database gaps and suggesting new data sources or filters.
  • Collaborate with RevOps to monitor funnel health, including demo conversion rates, opportunity movement, and win/loss patterns.
  • Keep CRM records clean and activity logging accurate.
  • Spot bottlenecks in the pipeline and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound sales within B2B SaaS, preferably with exposure to US customers.
  • A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluent American English.
