Inspector - Level 2

Role Overview

Honeywell is hiring a QA Inspector for its Joo Koon, Singapore site. The position focuses on quality control inspection support in partnership with manufacturing teams and site leaders. The selected person will help ensure that production standards are consistently met and that quality remains a core priority across operations.

Key Duties

• Carry out incoming, cell, and final inspections.
• Perform first article inspections in line with AS9102 expectations.
• Use coordinate measuring machine equipment effectively for measurements.
• Review mechanical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications accurately.
• Support the Quality Engineer with containment of rejects, rejection analysis, and improvement planning.
• Issue non-conformance notifications when required.

Experience and Capability Requirements

The role calls for a candidate with a strong eye for detail, dependable work habits, and solid knowledge of quality standards. The ideal applicant should also be able to work well with others and approach problems analytically.

• A minimum of an NITEC qualification or an equivalent certificate is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the machining industry is needed.
• Experience using CMM equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and specifications is essential.
• Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required.
• Experience with measuring tools such as air spindle, micrometer, and height gauge is expected.
• Background in precision machining or aerospace is preferred.
• Familiarity with Net-Inspect and Discus ballooning software is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability is important.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative mindset are needed.
